Marie Trigg was a member of the postgraduate Deakin Business School in Australia, the Faculty Chair of International Business Management and the Program Director of the China International Study Program. She holds degrees from Monash University, Melbourne University and the University of New England and is currently teaching in both graduate and undergraduate programs in many parts of the world including the USA, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Netherlands, France, Lithuania, Russia and Austria.
Marie, also works as a consultant and is joint owner of DAVMAR Consultancy which was established in 1992 and specialises in the development of international strategy and the design and implementation of management skills for business as well as presentations to visiting foreign delegations.
Marie’s theoretical and professional background is balanced by her practical involvement in the agricultural industry, through previous ownership of a 600 cow dairy and the breeding of commercial and stud Belgian Blue cattle. This has led to the development of a small international business in importing and exporting of genetic material.
Marie is keen to support her local community through participation in Landcare, the Rural Engagement Group of the Bass Coast Shire and the project committee for Climate Adaptation and Sustainability.
